Vitamin We

Hi there,

In today’s article I wanted to talk about something a bit forward thinking, but it is quite close to my heart. Vitamin We. More than anything, what I truly love about being a personal trainer is helping people and encouraging them to take an active role in their health and wellness.  Quite simply, I care and I love to share.  So why not do more of that?!

Last year, I wrote a 12 day workout post that added a new exercise to the routine every day.  I had fun writing it and my readers had fun completing it. This year, I want to help more, empower more and give more. Harnessing the power of social media we can reach out and connect with people from all over the globe.  So…why not try?!

What could possibly go wrong?

Ultimately, I want to do more than just exist on social media, I want to make a difference.  The holidays are on the horizon, it’s the perfect time to pay it forward. I believe the best thing I can contribute is to encourage even more of you every day. However, I cant do it alone {hence the “social” part}. Don’t panic, we don’t need to re-invent the wheel {hence the “media” part}, we just need to actively participate by using the newborn hashtag.  Easy breezy, right?!

Vitamin We

So I created one #VitaminWe.  It’s created to build each other up, here’s how I envision it. I could be wrong but…who doesn’t secretly dream of an awesome pep squad in their exercise corner?  Who doesn’t love a shout out, fist bump or fittie retweet once in a while?  Who doesn’t want a nudge, positive comment or a pat on the back about their sweaty selfie?  Who doesn’t want that?

I want to encourage you, fist bump {like a virtual cheerleader} high-five and I want YOU to be on the squad and to cheer & fist bump everyone too!

Ok, sure…some people don’t want to share and want to be left alone {trust issues etc}…but those people aren’t likely on social media anyway… and if they are, they have their own hashtags like: #getoffmylawn #HermitsRule #IstayInside … I say, to each his own #notmycupoftea it’s all good.

Every shred of fitness knowledge you share, every person you encourage, every sweaty selfie you post — every act of exercise positivity you give, helps boost others to share, encourage and stay healthy.  #VitaminWe what’s not to love?

Viva La Vitamin We

Feel free to use it excessively #VitaminWe

So there you have it.

Do you think that social media is encouraging?

Do you think social media really has the ability to inspire?

If you felt this post was helpful and that it might help others, I always appreciate you sharing the love via social media. Be sure to subscribe, you don’t want to miss any Awesome AutumnPTW updates!
